TOSHIBA ON UK NUCLEAR PLANT



Toshiba ready to wind up it's Uk nuclear business after inability to get buyer dealing a possible fatal blow to plans for Cumbria nuclear power station.

It's NuGen division was behind to compare to the morside division. The company's move will propel the UK's plan to create nuclear power stations.Unions have challenged the Government for it's inability to  ensure the project is continued.

Toshiba said by January it will begin the wind.
Korea Electric Power K.E.P.C.O  had been a likely bidder to take charge of the nuclear power plant development, but those talks failed after more than a year negotiations.The Japanese corporation affirmed it expected to take the sun of 15 billion Yen ($131.8million) hit from the pull out,but shares in the company jumped 12 .7 percent in Tokyo
In September NuGen announced it will reduce the team at moorside from over 100 to below 40 - This made many thought the project was about to end.
NewGen  previously owned by Toshiba and Engie a French company. Toshiba was subsequently urged  to take over the 40. Percent remain of NuGen, it did not  own at a bankruptcy condition similar to Engie.
